Worth it to swap to 2017+ intake airbox?

I am getting ready to get headers and a tune. I only want to get the tune done once so I am going to do an air filter and inlet tube at the same time.

You can get a used 2017 intake airbox and resonator for cheap now. Is it worth it at all to swap to the 2017+ airbox? As far as I know, it bolts right into the older cars. It would make sense to do it at the same time when upgrading the filter and inlet tube because it would hardly cost much more.

I am not sure if there is actually any measurable gains on the dyno from the larger 2017+ airbox, though. I believe the stock intake system already flows more air than the valves can handle so power gains from changing the intake and intake manifold are minimal. It also seems 2013-2016 cars dyno about equal to 2017+ cars after header and tune. But, if it makes no difference, why would Toyota/Subaru bother?
