That's right, but 1st and reverse are a lot more 'touchy' than the other gears; you have to be a lot smoother with your inputs. You always have the option of moving to second gear as well.

1st gear when i let off the acceleration just feels like it wants to slow down bad but I guess thats normal? I do try second gearand 5-10 mph and the rattling from the transmission and sound as if the rpm is too low for the gear and its getting bogged down kills me
