I wish I never stumbled on this thread. This just jumped to the top of the next mod list. Only concern for me is clearance for a Harrop SC (looks to be a non issue if an Edelbrock fits) and brake duct hose clearance with a Verus AOS.
I wouldn't want to paint it, maybe try a color matched vinyl.
