You're a little late to this party...

We're well aware of the new subaru global platform. and it has been making its way into various cars, once they get redesigned. (Just like Toyota and its TNGA platform)

With that said there has been NO indication that the new 86/BRZ is using the new global platforms other than baseless guessing, speculation and wishful thinking. If its a full redesign then yeah it makes sense to plunk it there. But it sounds like its just a heavy refresh (like the 2021 Lexus IS) so its still possibly using an updated version of its current platform.

All will be (or should be) revealed on the 18th.
