So I think I've officially settled on getting the HKS GT2 kit. However, after watching various videos and such, I noticed some distinct differences/ inconsistencies. The American (and some other out of country kits) have a different mounting bracket. The American GT2 has the shiny one, while the Euro/Japanese have the black one. As well, the installation instructions differ between them.

To make it a bit easier, I'm comparing 12001-AT012 vs 12001-KT004
My assumption is the AT012 is for the V2 GT2 and KT004 is the V3 GT2. After reading the installation manuals for both, there are a few small, but distinct differences. The American version requires cutting of the timing chain cover where the dipstick bolt goes, and something about trimming a fan shroud. While AT012 does not require those.

It may be petty, but I'd really rather not make such a modification. The other stuff I don't mind as it's easily replaceable. Any information is much appreciated. THANKS!

*edit* while writing this I read that the V2 vs V3 is piping diameter. Would running a V2 here really affect performance on American 93 octane?
