My head is well below the windshield and I pretty much never drove my MR2 Spyders top down. That is the first time I've seen anyone say the Spyder is roomy.
I had to autocross mine top down in the pouring rain because my helmet would contact the latches. And I'm 5'7", 150 lbs.
