OK, so, the engine won't turn over with just one battery but it will turn over with two batteries but won't fire?
How many volts does the car battery read (as read by touching the battery clamps, not just the posts).
I suggest you clean the battery clamps and the battery posts.
Also, check the big fuses on top of the battery to make sure they aren't blown.
