both my 23" asus monitor and my 40" tv
3 different RAM combinations (PNY 1x2GB, Kingston 1x1GB, and Samsung 2x2GB)
bought a new video card and returned it when it had the same problem
took out the CMOS battery for an hour or so to reset the mobo
starting the computer with no RAM, didn't hear any beeps or error messages.
any ideas? I think the mobo may be done, it's an old abit ip35e

First thought is if it is acting like its "booting all the way up" is it possible the motherboard has an onboard video option that somehow got turned on and is now overriding the output through an add-on card?
Also might help to know what brand/make PC it is (if its not a DIY) or the motherboard model number.
