Stock suspension is OK, but presumably you'll want to lower the car. Swift BRZ Sport (somewhat stiffer than stock) or Spec-R (a bit more stifferer than stock) will lower the car about 1.25", which for me is totally streetable.
You could keep stock struts/shocks, or consider going to something like Bilstein B6 or B8. Much better ride, with better-controlled low-speed damping for stiffer springs as well.
Lowering will increase negative camber in back, in my case to about -2.8 degrees. If that's too much for you, you could get adjustable lower control arms or offset control arm bushings.
Camber bolts could I think get you to -1.5 degrees up front which again IMO is desirable even for street only, and doesn't look ridic.
