If you want more grip, the first place to look is getting the right specific tire make/model. The next place to look is *more front camber*. -1.5 degrees for a street-only ride will significantly improve front grip and not look obviously "cambered". The next place to look is suspension setup. Last would be outright tire size. 225/45-17 on 17x8 or 245/40-17 on 17x9 +40ish offset are your best bets, neither requires a widebody kit...
