The original 86 was 1) inexpensive and 2) fun to drive! Those two characteristics DEFINE Scion as a brand.

Now, I know capability doesn't exactly define Scion... but this car could change that. Either way, no need to get up in arms yet.

It seems as if my post was glossed over, so let me say it again. It's not about the piece of plastic that is on the bumper, it's the thinking that went behind "let's make this a scion" a problem for me.

That being said, all of those people jumping for joy for a "$20k scion" will be the set that turn into a lynch mob when the rest of the buying public go "WTF, a $25k Scion?!?!?!".
