Toyota really wants to attach a "young and hip" image with Scion, so this isnt a big Surprise for the US.

AE86 marque/name is more synonimous in Japan than it is in the states. The FT will come out with an "86" badge there and thats no surprise either, it'll even have that old school TOYOTA (in katakana writing) on some of the labels.

Globally, I think this car will come out as Celica under Toyota. I'm not 100% sure if Subaru will release it Globally though under its name anyways.
