diff riser will help for overlowered cars .. but more for CV bearings, not driveshaft. They will do so by reducing back to lesser angle, and thus load/wear on those bearings.
imho, if driveshafts fail, it might be due different reason, eg. grippy tires paired with too high power forced induction build w/o strengthening apropriately all other drivetrain components ..
