I’m not sure if this has been previously addressed, so I’m asking here. Please forgive me if it has already been discussed and if you could point me to a link to that discussion, I would be grateful.

Re-previewing the installation manual for my Harrop kit, I found a bit of an oversight on the part of the manufacturer:

On page 10 of the manual, picture 5.h shows the OEM MAP sensor installed onto the supercharger, as you can see in the first picture below. Then on page 13, in picture 6.m they show a picture of an aftermarket OMNI 3 bar sensor, also shown in the other two pictures below. Knowing that the 95 mm pulley will produce about 8 psi, which will give an absolute pressure of 22.5 psi (or 1.55 bar), and also knowing that (according to EcuTek) the OEM MAP sensor has a limit of 1.37 bar, the obvious question is why have they not included a new higher limit MAP sensor in the kit?

My second question is with their CARB tune, what MAP sensor is required for this installation since the OEM sensor would be insufficient for proper operation?
