Forget that it is RWD since most of what you hear about driving one is pure myth created by generations used to FWD.
With REAL snow tires (not "performance" ones or supposed All Season) these things are a tank in the snow. I have had to stop in deep snow and push AWD cars out of my way to get down some streets.

The main thing to grasp is how RWD will behave on throttle. The nannies do a pretty good job, but they are pretty intrusive. Gearing and wheel speed is important.
I find it harder to accidentally drive straight over the winter months. Mainly due to my inner 5 year old.
It's extremely predictable and makes you properly appreciate this chassis in the snow. Throttle, it goes sideways, off throttle is straightens out. Modulate to be somewhere between doing circles and going straight. Second gear is the most fun, the wheel speed seems about perfect for about any hooning you want to do while having a controllable wheel speed.
From a stop you almost have to let the rear end move around to get momentum. I can see that making some uneasy.
you can leave the nannies on but it kills so much wheel speed which you often need for low speeds in the city.
For maximum sideways on the lockstops
