Round 3 of dealing with the Maryland Vehicle Authority: trying to complete the registration on my 2 cars that had to get inspected. Currently on temp registration, and I have a limited time to register after paying $200 for safety inspections or I have to do them again...

I cannot do it online because they don't have my insurance info. I cannot give them my insurance info because that needs to come from the insurance company. I cannot initiate a request for that because there is already a request for that information, but my insurance company has no record of it so they cannot respond to it.

The phone number the MVA lists returns a busy signal at all times during their open hours, and a recording stating to call back at all other times. I found a secret phone number that got be to not one, but two very grumpy and rude individuals who were not much better than the robot answering devices. I sent an email explaining the situation and asking for guidance that I have 0 hope of being returned because they never responded to my last email.

In person is appointment only, which is BS, because you go there at the appointment time and then you still sit and wait in a stuffy crowded room for an hour or two where everyone has to social distance and wear a mask except for the goddamn state police officer apparently.

Options right now include trolling their FB page, or trying to call or email the executive office (which are publicly listed by individual, but I doubt that actually gets me to them), or just walking into a branch passing the appointment guard out front and just asking wtf is going on.
