Premium prices are based on the individual models, not necessarily the overall brand. Insurance don't charge based on "image," they do it based on previous history of accidents with a given nameplate (or close equivalent), its demographic distribution, number of claims and amount per policy, repair costs, etc. They don't go "hmm Scion sounds like a young brand" and arbitrarily slap a high premium on it.

A majority is based on on driver but brand and model does factor just the deference between luxury sport and sport luxury.
