I have no experience with Track Mode in 2017+ models, but from what I understand, they are far more lenient than VSC Sport, and you can even transplant them into an earlier model if you prefer (just wanted to toss that one out there).
Sadly I have just regular Lancer not the Evo. Impreza was the WRX so it might makes the difference between them.
