Prices for the RTX3080 range from AUD$$1,139 to $1,469 on one website. While it is affordable it is a little more than I was hoping to spend. Which is good in a way because now I can wait without angst for the RTX 3070 release, which is probably going to be adequate for 1440p, and the announcement of AMD's cards. I would like to support AMD if their cards are up to it but fear of their drivers makes me think I will stick with Nvidia regardless.
We'll see.
