1 inch lift from the springs and 2 inches from a spacer for 3 inches total is massive. Actually rally BRZs aren't that high.
For my rally-x car I'll be sticking with our rally springs (about 15mm or 0.6 inches lift) and that's it. It's enough clearance, a nice bump in compression travel, and doesn't totally screw up suspension geometry.
