In Texas we usually have 89, 91, and 93 octane available. I have a feeling most people use 89 because it’s the least expensive, even if their car requires 91 minimum. I mean the general population, not twin owners.
I feel bad for you guys who only have 91 as your highest octane, but it seems like it doesn’t hurt performance too much. Remember when Subaru had to re-map STI’s several years ago?! They underestimated how bad California fuel is. [emoji28]
