You are taking this too personally. It's a transaction. The dealer doesn't "care" about you, that's the role of your family and friends. This is a business transaction and telling them you'll blacklist Toyota does not advance your position, it just makes them wish you'd go away. The salesman wants to move onto an easy deal and let you go. Hell, by the time you're in the market for another car, he'll probably be selling real estate.

Work out what you want and what you're willing to compromise to get it. If you want out, at least they appear to trying to get rid of you too, which makes things easy. If you want a BRZ, buy one knowing it now comes without a spare and deal with it. By all means try to get some compensation, but if your position is that you'll walk away if you don't get any, then just walk away with the knowledge that no-ones "cares" ... because they don't.

I don't even know which Toyota dealership my BRZ is being sold through ... and I couldn't care less.
