5qt jugs are between $20 and $25 at Walmart. Filter is no more than $10 for OEM or other quality brand. And auto part stores often have sales for oil and filter, I used to get 6 qts of Castrol and a PureOne filter for under $35 from PepBoys all the time when I had my STi and ran German Castrol
