I wouldn't call it a "shortfall" on the 86. I just think it would be nice to see a second engine choice on a lighter and more affordable chassis like the 86 and why I think it makes more sense vs watering down your flagship which has been met with a lot of negative and mix reaction.
Like I said the issue with doing it on the Zupra is it is still to heavy and expensive. There is only so much you can do to lower the price tag. I don't blame the car itself. The whole 2.0 was an after thought. Paraphrasing, but Tada pretty much admitted it when he said the idea didn't happen until half way into the 3.0's R&D. Let's be real here for a moment. It really only exist because of places like the EU and Japan.
Sure it is. I'll believe it when it happens. Just like how the next 86 will be going turbo. :p
