No, but sometimes you would think so when you were trying to spin the flywheel to start it.
The old John Deere tractors had a
two cylinder, 4 stroke, gasoline engine and sounded like this (for you city folks).
Some of these kids cars these days sound like the old "hit and miss" engine -
