Back on the video, its impressive how fast you can make a lumbering SUV with enough added power, big brakes and fat, sticky rubber. Along with ultra sophisticated TC and stability programs (that were working overtime to prevent that X7 from tipping over!). But as the Stig said that doesn’t make them sportscars, just fast family haulers. Obviously dollar for dollar a dedicated sportscar will still be faster than an SUV in the same price segment. Compare a $30k SUV to the $30k sportscar (instead of a $100k super SUV) and see which gets better lap times. So an amusing but ultimately pointless video.
