It should give an idea of my vintage, in that, I've driven more vehicles that never came with ABS or traction control, than he's likely even seen. They build cars for the lowest common denominator, and studies show 85% of the populace doesn't poses the multitasking abilities to drive a vehicle, but we let them anyway. Hence, traction control, and ABS.
