Subaru BRZ 2013 ABS and traction control lights / C1231

Hey,

First post here, long time lurker. I have been scouting previous threads for 1 month now and I am not able to figure out why I am having ABS and traction control light on, so I thought maybe someone has fought with the same problem. Dealer wont help me since car is in EU and is US spec. So:

I bought 2013 BRZ from salvage auctions (IAAI / US) late 2019, front damaged and imported it to EU. Seatbelts and airbags were blown (including steering wheel). Clock spring --> airbag connectors had melted, so I ordered new clock spring.

After replacing airbags, seatbelts and resetting SRS module I got error C1231 whitch means steering angle sensor short. I bought new steering angle sensor and same error stays (if I remove it I get different code). I have Techstream and I tried to do the zero point calibration (or something like that), but no help. Code disappears but as soon as I turn steering wheel it comes back.

Any help / suggestions are welcome since I have been battling with this for 3 months now
