Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the
Series.Blue was only in 2015.
Series.HyperBlue in
2016
I had a
Series.Yellow that was MY
2017
Next year was the
tS in
2018
Series.Gray in
2019
...and so on.
This car doesn't have any of the Series.Blue add-ons like the STi lip, side skirts, wheels, interior bits, etc.
They only made 500 in CWP and 500 in WRB, never black.
Sounds like your DMV / VIN decoder just labeled the car wrong.
FWIW, the CarFax for my
Series.Yellow BRZ calls my car a "
2017 Subaru BRZ 2.0 Limited/Blue.Seri"
