For 17x9, I’d like to ask,..on stock suspension or future suspension upgrades will the wheels rub/lock? I want to be able to fully turn without problems. Which offset will help me achieve this? Im just a regular driver and curious on this. Or will a 17x8/7.5 be best for me in this case?
Ive talked to you folks before and look forward to being a customer.

Appreciate your interest. Do you have a PP/TRD model with the Sachs struts?
There are a lot of variables in regards to whether or not a wheel/tire package will lightly scrub the liners at full lock. 9" wheels are relatively wide for this car, so it can be difficult to give a definitive answer. Things like ride height, wheel offset, tire size, tire model (not all are created equal in regards to sizing or sidewall shape) and alignment settings will play into the equation.
We offer 9" wheels in two offsets to give enthusiasts the ability to choose the right one for their specific application; ET42 and ET35. In most cases, the ET42 offset is going to provide more of a bolt-on fitment with no modifications necessary. The 17x9" ET42 with 245/40-17 tires is a setup that maximizes wheel and tire width without going overboard. It uses most of the available real estate under the fenders, typically without any rubbing issues or the need for modifications.
