winter tires are an excellent point that must be factored in.

if you drive in/on snow at all, you need to change the tires--either for all seasons, or account for having the space for a set of dedicated winter tires.

the factory tires are summer only. i genuinely tried for the first snow fall in 2014(it was less than 0.5" snowfall that day, barely a dusting), figuring everyone else was a much more incompetent driver than me. i made it in to work by shear luck that the entire drive there was flat or downhill from my house. and then immediately got stuck in the middle of all the parking spaces where the asphalt just barely pitched together(so gradual i had never noticed it pitched until that day) for drainage to a manhole cover 100' away. the summer tire rubber hardens and becomes the equivalent of pvc pipe on top of snow. despite it looking like there's grip from the mild tread, there's just nothing-- no amount of feathering the clutch, enabling/disabling traction control, trying a different gear, or working it back and forth got me even a half inch further.. i got out while in first gear and watched the car turn the rear tires at idle for a second while i called my brother with the tow rope to get me back home until i could order some different tires. because the trip back home was more uphill, we ended up leaving the tow rope attached the entire way back. and it was good to. i would have been stuck at least 3 more times...
