OK guys so update time. I took my BRZ out to my local try at Waterford Hills here in Michigan. (Trying to get on the M1 this year as well.....trying)

So I am coming from a 2013 WRX (non-STi), I'm no Clarkson or Harris but here is my 1 and a half cents. We don't need to go into the power difference, that point has been beaten to death, stabbed, dragged, shot, beheaded and blown up just for good measure.
What stood out to me first of all were the seats, in my opinion the 2013 wrx seats are shit. They did not hold me in place like i would have liked, through the corners my foot was planted in the dead pedal as I hung onto the steering wheel like i was on an out of control merry go round.
Second was the steering wheel, there was a lot more feel to what the front wheels were doing than the wrx gave. Don't get me wrong but WRX is no early 2000s Camry but I was feeling more info from the wheel about the tires.
Third was the involvement, the WRX is a very forgiving car to drive fast. Slow it down, turn it and kick the pedal into the firewall. the AWD system grips, then takes off like a squirrel on meth. While rewarding the BRZ takes a bit more finesse to get it around, is it slower, yup. But that doesn't mean its any less fun.
And finally was the launch, I am running 255 RE71s, basically my tire quoted Saruman The White when talking to the drive train "You have no power here FA20" Insert mechanical laugh. A bushing is needed upgrade, from motor mounts, diff, trans and rear sub frame are getting installed as soon as I have them all.
Well enough of me talking, videos are below. Enjoy.
