I definitely think on a car like this you can go too big, for my tastes anyway. As your power goes up you have to start making a lot of modifications to the car - suspension, bigger wheels, racing clutch, transmission, exhaust. Eventually, it starts feeling like a different kind of car. I was attracted to the light, tossable fun of this car. I feel like if you’re after a power beast, there are better platforms to start from that will be much more rewarding per dollar spent.

I totally may change my mind when I get there, but I feel like 275whp would really wake this car up without fundamentally changing what it is. I also feel like this is the sweet spot on mods for your money. Past 300 and you start getting diminishing returns, or add too much risk.
