Upgrading stock wheels
Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here so bear with me. I have a 2015 BRZ Premium that is 100% bone stock. I plan on upgrading my wheels and tires and have a few questions. I plan on running a 225/40 R18 tire with a Konig Oversteer 18x8 +45 offset wheel. I checked wheel it fit and I know for a fact this setup will work, unfortunately, the Konig Oversteers only come in a +45 offset (to my knowledge/research) in the specs I want to run. Im going for a flush look on the car. With me going from a 215 tire to a 225, and going from a 17x7 wheel to an 18x8 wheel, and also plan on running some Faction Fab lowering springs that drops the front 1 inch, and the back 0.8 inches. With this setup since the Oversteers only come in a +45 offset, will I have to run a spacer to achieve the flush fitment, or will the thicker tire compensate enough? Or instead of a spacer can I run a 235 tire on stock suspension without rolling the fenders? Thanks in advance to anyone who offers their expertise and advice!
