I'd love to do a long travel setup on it eventually, but more than like the current OME lift I have on it now (~2"). Now that the FR-S is gone I have garage space and incentive to do the things I've been procrastinating on with the Frontier - like fabbing seat bracket/mount for the Recaro Sportster GT thats been in my living room for nearly 9 months, installing the XTP intake manifold spacer thats been sitting similarly as long in my room (and doing spark plug change and internal secondary intake butterfly valve replacement at same time), and custom Morimoto M LED 2.0 based headlight retrofit using parts I recently got in from TRS along with some used OEM headlights off ebay.
I'm more than content in giving up the FR-S and keeping the Frontier. Much easier to find another manual 86 down the line than a 2nd gen 2WD, King Cab, 6speed manual Frontier. I had to fly to North Carolina to get my Frontier...only one of a few in the country I could find specced as wanted and within my budget at the time I was looking some 3 1/2 years ago. I will miss the FR-S, but I like how I don't need to worry about a lift to do basically anything under a truck for maintenance.... just go right under it and do whatever maintenance work needs to be done. FR-S with a front lip is so freaking low a regular jack won't even fit under it... had to drive up on pieces of wood to fit a jack under it just for doing an oil change. And rear has to be lifted for differential fluid change, where with the truck you can do it as is on the ground.

Sounds logical to me. Our family car is a 2014 ford flex we bought used and paid cash. I love it. The amount of stuff I can put in this is crazy with the seats down. I am thinking of getting a used truck as a tow/daily when the frs gets converted to pure track duty.
