That can be a blessing, or a curse. Here's how you can use it to your advantage. Right now, you say that it goes away after it warms up. I bet that if you listen carefully, you'll realize that it doesn't fully, which is fine. Listen for other stuff, like the noise it makes when you unload the drive line in first or reverse while creeping. That backlash is the chatter that I'm talking about. Multiply that by a bazillion and then we're getting into the stuff that peens bearings and deforms castings.
Manner of operation is the main thing to consider, especially because that is the thing over which you have the most control.
