Is there anyway to upgrade certain parts of the transmission so that this doesn't constantly fail? I'll probably use it until if and when it fails again
If it fails again, I might as well just fork out the money and upgrade some of the parts, since I had a plan to go FI within a year anyways if anyone has any recommendations

Well, OK, you might mention to them to grease up the clutch fork while they are at it.
If it were the clutch fork or the slave cylinder shaft that was making noise, that doesn't mean they were "failing", it just means they were dry.
