Actually it would probably fit in the trunk sideways, but would have to measure.

Worse case you have two. I full width solid one that would add rigidity when in place and a canvas one that would roll up and fit in the back.

My '83 Z-28 had a canvas top over the custom conversion Targa, and it worked great for that purpose.
