I'm one to cheap out on tools and if it breaks it means I used it more often than I thought and need a better one so I'll get a quality one.
I also don't cheap on on stuff that will inflict a lot of injury to me. Had a cheap drill bit snap on me and almost injured my already ugly face.
That said, I agree with
Impureclient and use multiple devices when I'm under the car. Using the Jack Stand, Lift, and if I took a wheel off I'm putting it under the car and using wheel chocks.
