Nope, it's not just you. Take the Chevy Vega for example. It was manufactured from 1970 to 1977. It was available in two-door
hatchback (fastback), notchback, Kammback wagon, and sedan delivery body styles.
As I've stated before I purchased a brand new hatchback like this back in 1973.
