Anyone know what I should do? Cars naturally have holes to release air but this is not safe to drive in. I blasted the AC, closed all windows and closed my garage door with car off, hovered a cigarette around the bottom of car to see what made smoke move this most, and by far this bar had the most movement. I also put a little trees car fresher in my spare tire well and my whole car smelt like the "Black Ice" scent when I rolled the windows down. Any help is much appreciated. My chest gets tight when driving. This doesnt happen with a stock fp only high flow fp. Thank you!!

There are two vents behind the rear bumper (1 on each side of the car, covered by black flaps) that relive cabin pressure when the doors are closed (take the bumper off, open a door then close the door, you'll see the flaps move.) I suspect this and similar issues may be related to these vents remaining open, possibly in conjunction with any under car exhaust leak either due to a fracture or a bad/leaky gasket.

I recall mention of a TSB being put out by Subaru years ago regarding repair or replacement of these vent flaps to ensure they do not remain open when operating the vehicle.

See if you or your dealer can locate this TSB, and/or install an updated set of flaps and report back on if that fixes this issue.
