The rear lca has the wheel end joint pressed into the knuckle, I've seen a few of those go bad on foresters, it should rotate freely, but axial and lateral play are a big no-no. Even if there is no noise, play in that spherical joint means bad alignment.

Thanks. As @strat61caster mentioned I incorrectly labeled it in the title. But it seems there are a couple of opinions on the normal movement of these hub joints. For me it moves on all axes but I have no noises what so ever. Just wondering if it could lead to a mushy or soft driving feel.
