Couple days late but I'll have to disagree.
My first battery from factory died within a year of purchasing the car.
Second battery died a few months ago, which was maybe 1.8 years after replacing the first one.
I've switched to some random one that the local Subaru performance shop had on hand, which I'll try until it dies (hopefully not for a few years at least!).
