I've hit the wall folks. I can't do the social media shit anymore. I've seen one too many conspiracy theory posts from people I thought were intelligent and rational people. Here are a list of conspiracies and other nonsense I've seen for your amusement:
1. COVID-19 is a man-made virus from China/America/ Wherever
2. Bill Gates & Dr Fauci are behind this for personal gain
3. COVID-19 isn't real or a fabrication of the media, trump, china, *insert your scapegoat*
4. COVID-19 was manipulated in a lab
5. COVID-19 did not come from nature/ it is impossible for it to originate from nature
6. Masks are ineffective
7. Masks are effective
8. The gov't. is trying to take our rights/ oppress us
9. This breakout is for political gain
10. It's all about big pharma
11. The virus will return in the fall
12. The virus could last for at least a year
13. This is the new normal
14. The media is trying to instill fear (my conspiracy lol)
15. Nothing is true unless it fits "my" agenda/ belief/ conspiracy
16. Insert any other random cover up or government conspiracy I failed to mention.

Anyway, sorry for this post. I'll continue to read scholarly articles about the virus.
