For a pure street car it would make very little difference, for a car that will be used on the track the larger rotors, esp with the rears being ventilated will allow you to run for longer before fade sets in. It will be most likely much easier to get a good selection of pads for the larger brakes as they are the much more common size for the car worldwide. The US don't have any cars with the shitty sized brake specs...
