Typical Nissan. They do one thing then they change their minds after a year or so of sitting on the idea.
Even their Le Mans efforts reflects this... 1999 R391 was developed and raced, but got the plug pulled after a year. 2015 GT-R LM Nismo was developed and raced, but got the plug pulled after 1 race...
Don't get me started on the late 1990s. They had all of these sports cars on separate platforms and selling at the same time:

And yet it'd be nice if we knew Nissan would bring back that sports car spirit.
I liked this race car (no idea what the model is) at the Nissan Ginza Crossing that I saw back in February (not the greatest photos, sorry):
Everything else at the demo "shop" were Nismo economy type cars (like a Juke, I think) or w/e. (other than that futuristic "GTR" demo car, and a Red R35).
