If you tried it in your driveway, did you just release the parking brake? You gotta give it the brakes for it to hold the brakes.

Yes on the hill my parking brake was not on. I put the car in first hold on the clutch and i would press the brake and let go a few times to see if it would roll back, when it did roll back i would just drive it up the driveway. It just seemed that it wasnt working like it didnt hold the brake.
