I went 3mm, should've went to 4mm to be stiffer. The Economy sheets are Matte/unfinished on the backside, finished on the front. |
If you wanted strength you should have gotten something with a nomex/honeycomb core. Sandwich panels will give you way more strength than just another few layers of carbon. At some point with the strength/weight ratio, the sandwich panel will be lighter.
