Braking/suspension also is not that required to do right now, for only daily driven car. As several of track oriented mods in those areas will compromise and bring cons for DD use. For example - why do you need track oriented brake pads and more expensive brake fluid (or maybe even BBK), if you'll never get them to their working temp range, resulting in higher wear, loud squeal at every traffic light stop, extensive brake dusting, or that will require to buy also different wheels if wished BBK won't clear stock wheels? Or why get track oriented alignment with lot of static negative camber, which will slightly actually reduce grip in light daily driving in straights and add uneven inner sides of tires wear?
And even if when one starts to track, even those basic mods .. imho it's beneficial to take completely stock car on first or second trackday. So that one finds out by his own experience deficiencies/limits, so that mods are done afterwards due by felt and understood reason, not because others suggested so. For example brakes - yes, stock pads/fluid will result in brakes fading soon. One felt how it is, one will know when to slow down for cooldown lap, and what to improve/change (if wants longer track sessions). Or alignment .. one will feel stock understeer-ish grip bias and front plowing out in curves, or will see uneven outside tire wear, and will know now what/why to fix, and will have previous-baseline to compare to in change of feel and/or speed/laptimes, what eg. changes in alignment brought. I find it fun and satisfactory to not just drive fast at track, but also learning both techniques & about various mechanic things in car.
