Thanks for all of the replies, I'm leaning towards the power stop z23 pads and centric blanks. I won't be tracking the car until I a) graduate or b) I hit 200k miles, at which point I'll be doing a full tear down of everything and supercharging. The plan is to reduce all of the unsprung weight (rims, brake set-up) and replace or upgrade major motor parts for the supercharger (on a stock block, goal is 280-300hp). So for now, I need to put some easy miles on the car.

While I'm here, I should mention that I'll be replacing the clutch and spark plugs this summer and was wondering if I should replace or adjust the valves. I searched and found a lot of threads about the recall but couldn't seem to find a guide. There is a toyota manual (j02) but one with pictures is worth a thousand words.
